Human bodies on display

Fake guts and blood are normally all the rage during this time of the year. But how about real brains and muscles?

"Bodies, the Exhibition" opens tomorrow in Tulsa. With more than 150 real whole-body specimens and individual organs that have been carefully preserved, Bodies offers an educational scare just in time for the holiday weekend. Whole-body specimens are displayed in animated, athletic poses to help visitors understand the physicality of every day activities. There are plenty of healthy bodies to behold but smokers beware, you might get more than a little freaked out after seeing what happens to the human lung after habitually inhaling tobacco.

Bodies opens tomorrow at 10 a.m. at The Village at Woodlands. 6898 S. Memorial Drive, Suite 220. Tickets are $22.00 for adults. Check out a sneak peak preview video of what to expect here.
