Sage grand opening

Chef Charles Bowen cooks during a taping of OK Foodie with Dan Potter

Sage Southside, the big brother of Brookside’s Sage Culinary Studio, is hosting a grand opening celebration July 10 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This will be a day of fun for foodies of all ages. Sage Southside’s party will feature cookie decorating, face painting, Clonky the Clown, gourmet food tasting and Topéca coffee drinks from the newly opened SAGE RAGE Coffee Bar, as well as product demonstrations. For the culinarily curious, one of Sage’s favorite guest chefs, Charles Bowen of Kilkenny’s and LuClaire, will be on hand to answer questions about kitchen gadgets and cooking techniques.

Click here for more information, and to view a complete listing of Sage’s cooking classes (at both locations).

Sage also has a new monthly event to get excited about.

‘OK Foodie with Dan Potter’ is Oklahoma’s only food and wine radio show, and is taped every Tuesday in front of a live audience at the new Sage Culinary Studio at 105th and Memorial. The show welcomes celebrity guest chefs from around Green Country to cook a couple of their signature dishes for the audience. The chefs share their life stories, their passion for good food and their best cooking tips. ‘OK Foodie with Dan Potter’ airs Saturday afternoons at 1 p.m. on KRMG AM 740, after the KRMG News.

Please stay tuned to KRMG AM 740 or FM 102.3 and the Sage Culinary Studio website and Facebook page for more details on the weekly guest chef and how you can be part of the live audience. You may also call Sage Southside for more information at 918.364.SAGE (7243).
