Owner Houssam Elsoueissi, a native of Beirut, Lebanon, developed recipes from his home country to feature native spices and dishes such as shawarma, a meat slowly roasted on a vertical, rotating spit.
Shawarma’s the star
Chicken and beef shawarma serve as protein options for many of the restaurant’s dishes. It’s marinated and cooked on a skewer on-site, all trimmed to order.
Fresh eats
The Shawarma Salad ($8.99) is a great bread-free option. Warm shawarma chicken tops a bed of crisp Romaine lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and carrots, served with a sprinkling of feta cheese, tzatziki sauce and dressing.
