The theme of the 26th annual Memory Gala on Feb. 28 was “Imagine a Breakthrough in the Fight Against Alzheimer’s by 2025.”

The short program at the Cox Business Convention Center included vignettes from three caregivers who were able to overcome the alienation of caregiving through the Alzheimer’s Association’s support groups, education programs and counseling services.

The mix-and-mingle atmosphere was electric with excitement. Entertainment included an unexpected light show by TPC Studios.

The event raised more than $1.5 million for global Alzheimer’s research, local programs and other support.
