On Thursday, December 19, LIFE Senior Services presents "Ethical Considerations & the Age Wave." This professional education program is for people who work with older adults, such as nurses, case managers, long-term care administrators and personnel, or anyone in behavioral health. The program focuses on meeting the mental health needs of the "Age Wave." Special attention will be given to serving seniors with mental health challenges. We will cover abuse, neglect and exploitation with an emphasis on what this lack of power and control looks and feels like for vulnerable adults. Reporting requirements and resources will be reviewed and scenarios practiced. Three hours of Ethics CE are offered. Early bird registrations received by December 13th receive a discounted registration fee of $49. After that, the rate goes up to its regular price of $65. The program takes place in the Legacy Plaza Conference Center at 5330 E. 31st Street in Tulsa. Advanced registration is required. You can register at www.LIFEseniorservices.org or by calling (918) 664-9000.
