First Friday Art Crawl in Tulsa Arts District.

1. First Friday art | Friday

Opening at 6 p.m. on Sept. 3: “Oh! Tulsa,” a show that happens every two years at Living Arts of Tulsa, 307 E. Reconciliation Way. “The Changed” by Andrea Martin at TAC Gallery, 9 E. Reconciliation Way. Catch “A Luthier’s Tale” at 108 Contemporary, 108 E. Reconciliation Way, before it ends Sept. 19. 2. Symphony in the Park | Friday

Tulsa Symphony plays Western themes for a night of rootin’ tootin’ cowboy fun at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 at Guthrie Green, 111 Reconciliation Way. Free. facebook.com/TulsaSymphony

3. Jazz on the Green | Saturday

Hear world-class jazz artists and local talent at 6 p.m. on Sept. 4 at Guthrie Green, 111 E. Reconciliation Way. Free. Read more about the event here. 

4. Tulsa Punk Rock Flea Market | Saturday

Music, fashion and art abound at this annual event. The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. on Sept. 4 at Expo Square’s Exchange Center, 4145 E. 21st St. $10, free under 12. 

5. Escape From Turkey Mountain | Monday

Walk or run the 2- or 5-mile event and enjoy the natural beauty of Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness, 6851 S. Elwood Ave. Non-runners should before 7:30 a.m. (races begin shortly after) to get a good viewing spot. $35-$40 to race. facebook.com/turkeymountain

6. Dog Days at Tulsa Botanic Garden | Tuesday

7. German Language Lessons | Tuesday

9. Shawshank Redemption opens | Thursday
