Description

Love stories? Then you will LOVE Tulsa's Best Storyteller Competition GRAND SLAM where you will hear some of the best storytellers in Oklahoma tell TRUE (funny, serious, sad, harrowing, interesting) stories about their lives.

Our previous monthly winners, 10 in all, will compete in a friendly competition for the "BEST STORYTELLER IN TULSA". Each storyteller will have 6-7 minutes to wow the audience with a compelling and interesting true snippet of their lives based on the evening’s theme.

A StorySlam is a live storytelling competition organized by Ok, So… Tulsa’s StorySlam. No notes are allowed and stories must be told, not read. Monthly events are held and winners from each month are competing in this “Grand Slam”. Participants are judged by a panel of writers, literary figures, and other slammers from around Tulsa to determine a winner for 2019. This is the 6th Annual Crowning of Tulsa’s Best Storyteller.
