Tulsa County Candidate Forum: OK House District 66

Date/Time

Jun 12, 2018
06:00 PM until 07:30 PM

Description

The League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa is hosting seven candidate forums ahead of the June 26 election. These forums include candidates in the Tulsa County District Attorney race, Tulsa County Commission District 1 race, and five district races for the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

“Elections provide voters with choices. These forums give voters a way to educate themselves about the candidates in a nonpartisan way,” said Elizabeth Harris, president of the board of directors for the League of Women Voters of Metropolitan Tulsa. “Before voters head to the polls on June 26, we encourage them to attend the forums so they’re making informed choices about the candidates.”

The DA forum will be co-sponsored by NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Tulsa and Tulsa Community College Connection student organization.

Each forum has a Facebook event page with more details. More information can be found at http://lwvtulsa.org/

The public is welcome and encouraged to attend these free forums. Locations are in Tulsa unless otherwise noted.
