Tulsa Botanic BLOOMS!

Mar 15, 2018 to Apr 22, 2018
10:00 AM until 05:00 PM

This event occurs daily, every 1 day(s).

Enjoy intoxicating fragrances and a kaleidoscope of color when over 100,000 blossoms usher in spring at Tulsa Botanic Garden’s annual Tulsa Botanic Blooms! festival.

As one of the largest flower bulb displays in the area, this celebration of spring includes over 62,000 tulips planted in Art Deco-inspired patterns in the center of the Garden’s Tandy Floral Terraces, cascading from the top of this terraced garden to the bottom.  Thousands of hyacinths, daffodils, crocus and more greet visitors in the Children’s Discovery Garden and around the Garden’s Lakeside Promenade trail.  The 2018 Tulsa Botanic BLOOMS is presented by Osage Casino & Hotel.

The Botanic Garden has a multitude of activities planned during the festival for all ages to enjoy – from family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day and spring break activities – to gardening talks and demonstrations to music nights on Thursdays with food and drink options available.  Starting March 15 the Botanic Garden will stay open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays.

Tulips & Tunes are Thursdays, March 22, 29 and April 5 with a different local musician  and food truck each week. Food and drinks are available at 5 p.m. and music is from 6 to 8 p.m.

Peak blooms times vary slightly depending on weather, but Garden staff chooses early, mid- and late-blooming bulbs for a floral display lasting six to eight weeks.  And the tulips are just the start of spring – redbuds, irises, viburnums and more will add to the show!

Free for Garden members, $8 ages 13+, $4 ages 3-12. Kids 2 and under free.
