Presidents Day Star Party

The Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium will host a special Presidents Day evening show on Mon., Feb. 19 at 7 p.m., followed by moon and star observing through telescopes with the Astronomy Club of Tulsa in the parking lot.

The Planetarium will be showing the exciting new full-dome show, “Faster Than Light: The Dream of Interstellar Flight.” This show will dazzle audiences with virtual rides aboard spacecraft of the future. They are based on new technologies designed to achieve ultra-high speeds using exotic rocket fuels and breakthrough concepts in physics.

Admission for this special showing will be $5 at the Planetarium door and is limited to 110 people.  Reservations may be made by calling 918-834-9900 ext. 219.  Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.  The telescope viewing is free and open to the public.
