06:30 PM until 09:00 PM

Event Date:  Thursday, June 13, 2019 - 6:30pm to 9:00pm Location:  The Reserve at Grogg's Green Barn Event Details:

Celebrate innovation in taste and words! Join us at The Reserve at Grogg's Green Barn for a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Chef Andrew Donovan and poet Janine Joseph.

In this reading and tasting, you will experience pairings of courses prepared straight from the garden with the poems that inspired them. Chef Andrew and Janine are passionate about culinary adventure and global flavors, and you won’t want to miss what happens when these two share their artistic vision with each other and all of us.

Born in the Philippines, Janine Joseph immigrated to the U.S. at the age of eight and lived undocumented for fifteen years. She is the author of Driving Without a License, winner Kundiman Poetry Prize, 2018 da Vinci Eye Award, and named an Honorable Mention for the 2018 Sheila Margaret Motton Book Prize from the New England Poetry Club, among other honors. Janine has also been a TV actress (yes, really!), having starred in a commercial for Kraft Cheddar Cheese in the 1980s.

Your participation in our Poets Dinner supports our programs in literary arts outreach.

Price includes wine pairing (Kraft cheese not guaranteed).
