Please Touch the Art

Date/Time

Jun 1, 2018 to Jul 30, 2018
05:00 PM until 09:00 PM

Description

Break the rules of conventional museums at the third annual Please Touch the Art exhibit. Mark your calendars for the opening reception Friday, June 1 from 5 - 9 p.m., in conjunction with the Tulsa Arts District First Friday Art Crawl. People of all ages and abilities are welcome, with a particular focus on accessibility for visitors who are blind or visually impaired. The opening reception will include refreshments and free limo bus rides to and from the Tulsa Arts District.

During the reception, you can help create a collaborative work of art that will be displayed during the remainder of the exhibition. Led by artist Ginna Dowling, the come-and-go activity will encourage people of diverse backgrounds and abilities to tell their own stories by creating a contemporary hieroglyph.
