Night of Dreams

Date/Time

Feb 22, 2018
07:00 PM until 09:00 PM

Description

The Tulsa Dream Center is hosting the first Night of Dreams gala, which will be held on Thursday, February 22nd. As part of this event, attendees will enjoy a plated dinner, a live and silent auction to help raise crucial funds to benefit students and the community of north Tulsa, as well as enjoy live music from The Voice alumni Brian Nhira.

The Tulsa Dream Center understands that the ability to read and write is linked to a successful future. As a result, they are highly focused on providing literacy through our LIFE program (Literacy Is For Everyone), an onsite after-school literacy program for students aged K-12th grade, as well as a bi-weekly adult GED program. In the past eight years, the Tulsa Dream Center has brought literacy to over 1,500 north Tulsa children.

Additional programs and services provided by the Tulsa Dream Center include weekly food and clothing distribution, hot meals, recreational activities, and an onsite medical clinic. Last year alone, the Tulsa Dream Center provided clothing to 7,507 individuals, hot meals to 9,774 individuals, groceries to 9,119 individual families, and our onsite medical clinic provided medical care to over 1,800 uninsured community members.
