Description

Please join us for our yearly summer music series as part of your Tulsa City-County Library's Summer Reading Program.

Vocalist Janet Rutland closes the season on July 22 with the music of the great team of Rodgers and Hammerstein whose music, of course, includes Oklahoma!  Rutland is well known for her performances of the wonderful songs of America’s most loved composers—Gershwin, Mercer, and all the others from the Great American Songbook.  Many of her Tulsa performances have been at the Performing Arts Center and the Jazz Hall of Fame.  Appearing with her will be pianist Scott McQuade and Shelby Eicher on violin, two musicians whose names are also very familiar to Tulsa audiences.
