Lights On Greenwood

'Tis the Season! With Hanukkah coming on Dec. 12, Christmas on Dec. 25 and Kwanzaa on Dec. 26, the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce will kick off the holiday season with the annual Lights On Greenwood on Dec. 3.

The event starts at 4 p.m. on Dec. 3 with a live historical reenactment, Looking Back At Greenwood, followed by a preview of Greenwood Chamber’s new Archive, Art & Curio at its new home at 116 N. Greenwood Ave. The Archive is dedicated to the significance of business and life in the Greenwood District. And will be a repository of historical document, photography, artifacts, maps, digital reproductions and art related to Greenwood. At 5 p.m. the Voices of Unity Choir will usher in the season and the lighting of Greenwood followed by a visit with Santa.
