Kendall Whittier After Five - Salsa Night!

Kendall Whittier After Five presents salsa night in Whittier Square at Admiral and Lewis! After Five is a monthly event on the second Thursday of the month from May through October.

Start the evening with free yoga in the "park"! Instructor Rachel Moss will lead you through a restorative class in our shady pop-up park from 5:30-6:30 p.m. You won't want to miss it!

Before the sizzling sounds of La Gozadera Latin Band, learn to bust a move with Jahaziel Hiriart with Baila Tulsa. She will teach free beginners salsa dance lessons from 6:30-7:30pm. The lessons are perfect for couples, singles or anyone who wants to time on the dance floor.

La Gozadera Latin Band brings the historic neighborhood alive with their salsa inspired music starting at 7:30 p.m. Bringing Latin American and Caribbean flavors, this high-energy band is sure to get you moving!

All evening, we'll have activities for little ones available to After Five visitors with chalk art, hula hoops and other Kids Zone activities are completely free and open to all.

Plus, visit your favorite Kendall Whittier businesses for local art exhibits, specials and more along Lewis and up and down Admiral for the monthly Second Thursday AKWA Art Walk!
