Gimme A Brake (Light)!

Apr 21, 2018
10:00 AM until 03:00 PM

21 April, 10:00a-3:00p

2160 S Garnett Rd (Plaza Santa Cecilia)

(GCDSA in partnership with Dream Act Oklahoma Tulsa)

Volunteers from the Green Country chapter of Democratic Socialists of America, working with Dream Act Oklahoma-Tulsa, Aware Tulsa (a local chapter of Showing Up For Racial Justice), and other activist organizations, will be hosting a clinic to replace broken brake lights for area residents free of charge. This public service event aims to prevent unnecessary police stops, expensive tickets and fines, and possible court appearances, to benefit the greater community.

By reducing the opportunity for police stops that disproportionately affect vulnerable populations, the Green Country DSA works for its vision of a more just, humane, and free society. Contact us with questions or for more info at: or @GreenCountryDSA.

Free & open to the public.
