David Reed James: Hollywood Sculptor

Meet and build with professional sculptor David Reed James who has worked on dozens of major motion picture sets, including "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Black Panther," and "Avatar." A reception and Q&A with David starts at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18. The reception is hosted by the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts & Culture, and the Q&A will be moderated by Jeff Huston, Lead Creative of Steelehouse Productions.

David will guide participants in creating a giant stacked robot sculpture, over 10 feet tall and nearly 20 feet wide, from 1 - 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19. You’ll learn basic foam sculpting technique, and then help construct and paint colorful, stackable robot toys. No experience required and all supplies provided, but participants must be at least 18 years of age and pre-register.
