Chalk It Up Art Festival

“CHALK IT UP” An Art festival, begins on September 22nd from 7pm-11pm and continues on Saturday, September 23rd from 10am-7pm.  This is a family event and is free to the public. Competing artists will have a 10’ x 10’ sectioned-off space 211 S. Main Street, between Dallas and Broadway, directly in the middle of the Rose District! Judging and voting for People’s Choice Award will begin at 2 p.m.  Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at 4:30pm.

Other activites during the event include: Local Art Vendors (including stone carvers, painters and artists who create from recycled materials), Local Musicians (we will have one main stage and several bands), and performance artists throughout the event (living statues, stilt walkers, jugglers, unicyclist, hoopers and more). Restaurants and the unique shops in the Rose District will be offering specials during the event.
