A one-of-a-kind fundraiser for Tulsa Botanic Garden, Botanical - ‘A Weekend of Culinary Wonder’ is a 3-day exploration of the way food, drink, and the land intersect. Each year is based on a celebrated gastronomic region of the world and explores its every aspect in spirit and in taste. Three unique events (Passport Dinner, Viva la Vida!, and The Symposium & Tasting) offer distinct culinary experiences for all interests and support levels. Proceeds from all events benefit Tulsa Botanic Garden.
New for 2019 Viva La Vida! is a dynamic and progressive re-creation of the world-leading nightlife in the cities of Spain and Portugal. Amidst clusters of bespoke bars and lounges, walk, nibble, and sip your way through the buzzing tapas and drinking culture of the region. James Beard and Food & Wine award-winning Chef Jamie Bissonnette (Toro in NYC, Boston, and abroad) will orchestrate a diverse and innovative menu of small plates, all matched with iconic sherries, natural wines, and progressive cocktails. From San Sebastian to Lisbon, this one-night experience places equal focus on what’s in your glass and on your plate.
