Bisonettes Concert

The Bisonettes, Oklahoma Baptist University’s women’s glee club, will be performing at Canyon Road Baptist Church in Tulsa on Sunday, March 11, at 10:45 a.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

The group will be performing a full concert, including music by C. L. Bass, Michael Cox, Rollo Dillworth, Nancy Grundahl, Lee Kesselman, Isabelle Ganz, Peter Mathews and Michael Hanawalt.

The Bisonette Glee Club is one of the premiere women’s choirs in the region and performs regularly at churches, schools and other venues. This year, the 65-member group has performed on several occasions, including OBU’s annual Hanging of the Green. The group is accompanied on piano by Rachel Foote and Emilie Griffin, and directed by James Vernon, OBU professor of music.

Canyon Road Baptist Church is located at 8550 S. 49th W. Ave. in Tulsa.
