An Affair of the Heart Tulsa, Green Country’s largest handmade, boutiques and gourmet market, will hold its annual summer show Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16 at River Spirit Expo at Expo Square marking its 35th show in Tulsa.
The first Tulsa show was held in July 1995 with 320 exhibitors attracting more than 16,000 attendees. Today two shows are held annually in July and November. The July show is expecting nearly 500 exhibitors and more than 25,000 shoppers - in its 22nd year.
“It’s hard to believe this will be our 22nd year in Tulsa,” said Eleanor Blakeman, founding partner of An Affair of the Heart. “We’re so blessed to be able to host so many talented artists, craftsmen, makers and help small retailers and business owners have access to thousands of shoppers.”
The July 14-16 show will feature approximately 130,000 square feet of merchandise including everything from handmade jewelry and up-cycled furniture to gourmet foods, home décor, personalized gifts and much more. There will be nearly 500 local and national artisans and independent retailers representing more than 20 states displaying their goods in nearly 900 booths. The show provides shoppers with a unique opportunity to browse hundreds of retailers from across the nation selling unique, one-of-a-kind items celebrating the craft, skill, art and style of the vendor.
“What’s so cool about our shows is the representation of artists and makers from across the country giving attendees the chance to shop local on a national level,” said Blakeman.
Show times are Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is just $8 at the door and each ticket is good for all three days. Kids 12 and under get in free. For more information visit heartoftulsa.com.
