7:30 a.m. Run the approximately 3 miles around the fairgrounds perimeter.
8:30 a.m. Showered and back at desk working on details for Farewell Season at Drillers Stadium; answer e-mail.
8:45 a.m. Make and return phone calls.
11:30 a.m. Lunch, usually on Cherry Street (I like Chimi’s, Bourbon Street and Jason’s Deli) or at McGill’s on 21st Street by myself, where I catch up on sports business reading. Tuesdays are reserved for the Tulsa Executives Association lunch at Tulsa Country Club.
1-4 p.m. I try to reserve (this time) for appointments either out of the office, sales or in house with Drillers staff.
3:30 p.m. Mid-afternoon snack of Dannon vanilla yogurt with granola. Yum!
4:30 p.m. Take time to reflect on my day and plan for tomorrow.
5:30 p.m. Leave the office and run errands or stop and pick up dinner. One of our (my family, wife Leigh and daughter Nikki) favorites is the sushi at In the Raw. The ITR Salad and 6151 Roll are awesome!
7 p.m. Eat dinner with Leigh and Nikki at home.
8 p.m. Occasionally join friends Ralph, Jim and Tommy for a Maker’s Mark Manhattan up and an Ashton ESG at the Cigar Box.
9 p.m. Read the Tulsa World to catch up on everything happening in T-Town!
10:30 p.m.1 Lights out after reading 10 pages of my current read, “Heart of the Game,” an account of the tragic death of Drillers coach Mike Coolbaugh in 2007.

What was your first job? Working for the City of Woodbury, N.J. (my hometown), maintenance department.
What was your worst job? Working at the UPS package terminal in Philadelphia in the offseason of 1978-79. It was extremely busy during the Christmas holidays, and as the low man on the totem pole, I always got the worst jobs.
What is the best part about your job as Tulsa Drillers president? Getting to put smiles on people’s faces when they come to a game and have fun. Working in and playing baseball is something I have done and loved since I was 8 years old!
Hardest part about your job? The juggling of sponsors and groups we have to do when weather affects our games. There is nothing we can do about Mother Nature, but it is still difficult to reschedule things when so many plans have been made.
What CD are you listening to currently? John Mayer and Nickelback.
What book are you reading? “Terwilliger Bunts One.” An autobiography of Wayne Terwilliger, a former Drillers manager I played for in 1978 and 1980. He is 80-plus years old and has led an extraordinary life in baseball and out.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be? Organized, driven and optimistic.
Best advice you’ve ever received? Always tell the truth; that way you never have to remember what you said!
Ideal weekend? On a beach somewhere, anywhere! Jersey Shore (especially Avalon and Cape May); Hilton Head, S.C.; and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Sun, sand and surf! Digging your toes in the sand and eating fresh seafood. A close second would be visiting my children in Boston. Drew is a sophomore at MIT and Nikki will be a freshman this year at Babson. What a great town!
