Sips for March

Try these Irish sips during a St. Patrick's Day celebration.

James E. McNellie’s Public House Bartender Cynthia Fairchild likes to recommend Murphy’s Irish Stout as a nice alternative to Guinness. “It’s just delicious,” she says. It sells for $6 for an imperial pint (21 ounces). Also, the Irish coffee is going to be hot-hot-hot on St. Paddy’s Day. For $6 a mug, it is made with Jameson Irish Whiskey.

Kilkenny’s Bartender Patti Stevens says her biggest St. Pat’s seller is the Guinness Stout draft, selling for $6 for a 20-ounce pint. Second to that is a steaming hot mug of Irish coffee made with Jameson’s Irish whiskey, sugar and heavy cream, also $6. 1413 E. 15th St.,
