You, our readers, have spoken, and we listened. In February, we asked you to nominate your favorite places to do business or have fun in Tulsa, and you responded — with enthusiasm! We received 35,968 individual nominations via five online forms — all from non-duplicated e-mail addresses — as you identified favorites within the Food, Fun, Shop, Body and Service categories. We are excited to now present the first annual A-List of TulsaPeople reader-preferred businesses and places. You nominated an astounding 5,488 different businesses/places in the 104 individual categories. Those ranking in the Top 25 percent of their category receive A-List recognition and are listed on the following pages. Each category listing is arranged in rank order based on the number of nominations. From locally owned businesses to national chains, from downtown locations to south Tulsa spots, our A-List represents a wide variety of Tulsa companies and places, each deserving of special recognition, according to you.
