Cattle Baron’s Ball

On Sept. 29, the western bank of the Arkansas River was filled with approximately 600 patrons of the Cattle Baron’s Ball. The benefit at RiverWest Festival Park raised $205,000 for the American Cancer Society.
The evening included live music from McKenzie’s Mill, Western-themed activities, and silent and live auctions. Food was provided by Burn Co., Mahogany, Olive Garden, Dilly Diner, Baxter’s Interurban Grill, McNellie’s, The Melting Pot and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Several bars scattered throughout the event served drinks.
Burn Co. dished up a variety of smoked meats.

Volunteers Connie Lewis and Anna Paquette at the “Lights of Hope” table. Guests could purchase a light to honor or remember a loved one. The lights were used to illuminate the event stage.
