Polar Plunge Tulsa

Safari Joe's H20 4707 E. 21st St. A Polar Plunge is a fundraising challenge made to an individual or group challenging them to dive into a cold body of water in order to raise money for Special Olympics. Each participant collects pledges from family, friends and businesses in the hopes of raising lots of money for Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge is coordinated by the Law Enforcement Torch Run which is an international charity made up of law enforcement personnel who raise money and awareness for Special Olympics. A minimum of $75 in donations is required for an individual to be allowed to plunge; a liability waiver also needs to be signed by all plungers. 35th St. Patrick's Day Run

The 35th annual St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run event is scheduled for Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Brookside and begins at 8:30 a.m. at 39th and Peoria, Tulsa, Oklahoma. More than 2,500 runners are expected to compete in the 5K Run. Proceeds from the run will benefit Special Olympics Oklahoma and Tulsa Running Club. 8:30 am One Mile Fun Run 9 am Special Olympics Exhibition Run 9:15 am St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run The awards ceremony and prize giveaway will be held immediately following the 5K run (approximately 10:15 a.m.). 30th annual Tour de Tulsa

The Center Polo Classic Event

10 a.m.-3 p.m. $25 adult general admission and $10 for children ; Range from $20,000 -$1,000. Mohawk Park, 5701 E. 36th Street North. As one of the most unique fundraisers in Tulsa, 2017 event will once again be a "weekend fit for a king" with a VIP Friday night Reception and the polo match on Saturday mid morning. We will have a live auction on Friday evening and a few silent auction pieces. On Saturday we will have silent auction, gift card pull, etc.The following Saturday morning is match day at Mohawk Park. Sponsors, VIP ticket holders, tailgaters and general admission guests arrive to a field full of white high top tents and horses. Sponsors and VIP guests are hosted in a large cooled tent that includes hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. Tailgaters receive their own 10×10 tent with a table and 4 chairs to host their own private party. General Admission guests bring their own chairs or blankets and get to choose their spot on the sidelines. All attendees have access to free water, complimentary champagne, restrooms, a large silent auction and a cash bar. The match is 4 chukkers (15 min quarters) long, with halftime that includes a gold cork contest and traditional divot stomping.
