"How do you fill a ‘blank slate’ with something ghost like?
"The irony in this challenge was my inspiration for the whole scene to become ‘Casperish.’
"Since the star of the shot had the innate ability to disappear, I felt the additional elements needed to evoke a similar lightness. I wanted to dial everything down to a softer level. The emptiness in the space and the subtraction of color were intentional decisions to help invite a sense of peace and quiet into a world where we would possibly all benefit if more of our ‘stuff’ was ghost-like."
