The look of love

From rustic elegance to a whimsical bridal shower, two Tulsa event planners demonstrate how any wedding gathering can come to life with a designer's touch.

Mom and Me Events Inc.

Mother-daughter team Rene Punch and Jerrica Grazier are the women behind the magic created by Mom and Me Events Inc. From catering to floral design, these women do it all with ease.

INSPIRATION:

“Many times we are asked to design something that has the elegant setting and a ‘rustic’ feel, and that is where our inspiration comes from for this tablescape. Our desire is to bring in the elegance with florals in oranges, blues and greens and then provide a comfortable sit-down table with the teak wood chairs and chargers, colorful dishes and smoke glasses. A bit of candlelight adds drama to any setting and just the right touch of romance and sparkle that any table needs. We always try to ‘think outside of the box’ and create something that is traditional and creative.” - Rene Punch and Jerrica Grazier

Guest Events

As a newlywed herself, Sasha Malchi, owner of Guest Events, knows the importance of details. That’s exactly why she strives to make certain each bride’s day is planned to perfection, from the food to the place cards. Here is a look at the designer’s take on a “modern whimsy” bridal shower.

INSPIRATION:

“I love to mix and match modern with vintage when possible . . . the always classic black and white color combination provides the perfect backdrop for pops of color like pink and green. Adding vintage shapes like baroque frames and milk glass urns and pairing patterns of damask with polka dots help to create a stylish soiree.” - Sasha Malchi
