Holiday decorating on a budget
Tips from the Cascia Christmas Walk designers.*
Anne Brockman
Purchase permanent decorative items like garlands and wreaths. Consider them and investment that can be updated through the years.- Buy decorations with traditional colors like silver and gold.
- Use elements found in your own backyard, like pinecones, as accent pieces.
- Decorate with long lasting flowers like amaryllis or poinsettias.
- Create settings using fresh plants or succulents.
- Look in your produce section for fruits, nuts and berries to use as decorative touches.
