A holiday home tour with the Cascia Christmas Walk
Get into the spirit of the season with the 27th annual Cascia Christmas Walk, a Tulsa tradition featuring beautifully adorned homes, holiday shopping and entertainment.
The Cascia Christmas Walk promises to be a day full of spirit as guests have the opportunity to tour four midtown homes decorated by noted Tulsa florists.
Each designer creates a holiday setting unique to the home, its style and architecture. Transportation will be provided between Cascia Hall and the participating homes.
Rebecca’s Flowers will provide holiday décor for the Cascia Hall Performing Arts Center, which will host performances by Cascia Hall’s bell choir and singing choir. Hot beverages will be provided.
Additionally, the school’s gymnasium will be transformed into the Christmas Gift Boutique, featuring dozens of vendors offering unique holiday gifts, gift baskets, poinsettias and wreaths. Matt Kelley of Lucky’s Restaurant will offer a lunch from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Cascia Café, where Christmas Kringles, oval-shaped Danish pastries with chocolate or vanilla icing, and Cascia Cookbooks will be available to purchase.
New to the event this year are two special performances of the all-student production of “Scrooge.” Performances are set for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Dec. 6, in the Cascia Hall Performing Arts Center. This version takes the script and music from the 1970s musical film of the same name but is set in the trendy London underground.
The Cascia Christmas Walk, presented by the Cascia Hall Parent Faculty Association, benefits the school’s financial aid program and various educational projects.
2818 S. Victor Ave.Designs by Debbie and Ted Wilson of Ted & Debbie’s Flower and GardenDecorators Debbie and Ted Wilson say they wanted to carry the tropical feeling of this home’s foyer into the kitchen with floral arrangements featuring tropical palms and leaves. They did not think a traditional floral arrangement would work with the home’s mid-century modern kitchen. Instead, they opted for pheasant feathers, cabbages, calla lilies and proteas. Dotted throughout the room is an assortment of “Kitchen Santas,” part the homeowner’s larger collection of Santas. Christmas cookies and treats receive the recognition they deserve thanks to plates from Williams-Sonoma’s Gingerbread Chef collection.
2690 S. Terwilleger Blvd.Designs by Lindi Collins of The Bridal Garden“One of the main things I tried to do was unify all the elements (the homeowner) already had — the glasses, the dishware and then her style,” says designer Lindi Collins of her take on a Christmas table setting. With a color palette inspired by the homeowner’s Christmas tree, nativity scene and chandelier, which featured not only traditional reds and greens but also oranges and yellows, Collins aimed to use items one might not always see in a Christmas arrangement. Her décor included such nontraditional elements as apples, moss and cranberries with roses, cymbidium orchids, white hydrangea, coxcomb and pinecones.
2136 E. 26th PlaceDesigns by Elizabeth Wallis of Petal PushersAn eclectic style inspired designer Elizabeth Wallis to incorporate unexpected and nontraditional plants, such as eucalyptus and blue hydrangeas, into a winter village setting in this formal living room. Wallis created an old-world, European feel, which complemented the homeowner’s own taste. The fireplace and mantle tie together the room with additional pieces that highlight and accent the decorative style. | ![]() |

2480 E. 27th PlaceDesigns by Renaye Johnston of StemsDesigner Renaye Johnston says that with its accents of golds and blues, an evergreen wreath dotted with glittered twigs and flowers on the window perfectly complements bouquets of fresh white hydrangeas and oriental lilies on the coffee table, softening the contemporary and bold aesthetic of this room. The accents carry through to the adjacent living room, where Johnston used more bold and metallic colors to match the grandeur of the formal space. | ![]() |
