Street School will serve more students at new site
Oklahoma’s longest-operating alternative education program plans to enroll 40 additional students for the upcoming school year.
Street School’s second location
After 45 years as Oklahoma’s longest-operating alternative education program, Street School has added a second site to serve more high-schoolers at risk of dropping out.
The current program will be replicated next door to Street School’s current location at 1135 S. Yale Ave. The proximity of the new facility means “We will not have to duplicate administration,” says Lori McGinnis-Madland, Street School president and CEO, “and we will be able to build slowly to ensure success.”
Street School plans to enroll 40 additional students for the upcoming school year, bringing total enrollment to 135. For more information, visit streetschool.org.
