Tulsa’s Young Professionals launches
Quickly grows to 1,400+ members

TYPros hosts first YP Day at the Capitol to promote bill drafted in part by Government Relations Crew

Marketing Crew launches community-pride campaign called “I am Tulsa”

TYPros expands Intern In Tulsa program through outreach to area employers
Supports first-ever position on political issue with Rock the River campaign

TYPros reaches milestone with 5,000 members

TYPros hosts brainstorming session to discuss downtown revitalization
Members raise more than $20,000 for TYPros’ community initiative, the most in TYPros’ history
Number of members participating as “bigs” for Big Brothers Big Sisters grows to 252
TYPros presents centennial gift to the city, a 12-foot sculpture in downtown Tulsa
Hosts first-ever signature event, the eco-friendly Green Gala
Increases political involvement, hosting a candidate meet-and-greet and mayoral debate
TYPros Fifth Anniversary Party
TYPros members, city leaders, advisory council members, sponsors and the public are invited to attend the TYPros Fifth Anniversary Party presented by State Farm, TYPros’ five-year anniversary benefactor. The event will commemorate the organization’s accomplishments and will allow members to learn more about the past and future of the group. Local bands Stars Go Dim and RadioRadio will provide entertainment. Attire is black-tie optional.
