A new restaurant is in the works for the Brady District.

Scott Moore who helped his mother-in-law, Lola Palazzo, start Lola’s at the Bowery downtown plans his own restaurant – Hey Mambo! Scheduled to open in late June or early July at 114 N. Boston Ave., as the name implies – it’s Italian, and will include brick-oven pizza, pastas, a buffalo filet, grilled salmon and a roasted veggie antipasto. The building, an old Brady District warehouse, will retain its raw look thanks to local designer Shane Hood. The building faces east, Moore reports, “right across from the Center of the Universe.” A full patio offers great downtown views, he says.
