James E. McNellie’s Public House opened six years ago in downtown Tulsa and has become a place where good food meets its match with one of the best beer selections in the state. McNellie’s has more than 350 beers from around the world available to customers looking for that perfect pint. Local favorites include the Marshall McNellie’s Pub Ale, Boulevard Wheat, Guinness, Ayinger Beau Weisse and Lindemans Framboise. A full menu is served daily, including Irish favorites, with brunch every Saturday and Sunday featuring a bloody mary bar. Wednesday nights have become $3 burger night at McNellies from 5-11 p.m. Monthly drink specials abound and with so many options, any McNellie’s staffer can help the undecided pick a perfect selection. If looking for a gathering spot, ask about the McNellie’s Sidebar, perfect for rehearsal dinners, corporate events, reunions or anniversary parties. McNellie’s is open 11 a.m.-2 a.m. daily.
