Charitable Event Submission
Hey there, friend. I can't believe November is here! And that means it's time to start compiling all of 2019's fundraisers and galas. I wanted to reach out and make sure your organization gets the chance to submit your events for inclusion.
This year, we're doing submissions a little bit differently — all you have to do is add your event to our online calendar.
Just follow this link, and be sure to select the "Charitable Events" category. Then, fill out as much information as you have. In the Sponsor field, put the name of the event beneficiary. If the exact date of the event is still to be determined, simply input the first day of the month in which it is tentatively scheduled. Then, check the box at the end of the form that says “My event date is still TBA.” Then, hit Save, or Save/Add New, if you have more than one event to submit.
When you follow the link, you'll be prompted to either log in, or create an account — which is super fast and easy, and will allow you to submit community events to the calendar all year long!
And of course, make sure that you've set the year as 2019, not 2018 (I'm still trying to break this habit myself).
