Home improvement
Recently the weather has been acting a lot more like spring than mid-January.
It’s gotten me, and I’m sure many others, thinking about flowers, painting and my back patio more than coats, the furnace or my car’s heated seats.
This weekend, indulge your desires with a trip to the Green Country Home & Garden show at Expo Square’s Exchange Center. The Show runs noon-8 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. And one of the best parts about it – it’s free!
More than 150 exhibitors – ranging from home decorators to outdoor designers – will be in attendance. Exhibitors from across the United States, as well as numerous local vendors, will be on hand to answer questions, plan and help visitors with their home and garden improvement needs. Specialists from a variety of fields, including plumbing, roofing, windows, heating and air, kitchen accessories and more, will be exhibiting at the show. Plus, don’t miss the Man Zone, Green Zone and the “All Things Women Love” Expo!
Hourly educational seminars and a number of demonstrations on the latest in home improvement, gardening and landscaping techniques will be available to visitors. Also, local home improvement experts will share tips on “how-to” projects.
So bring your ideas to the Exchange Center and prepare to have some down-home fun this weekend. You can count me in!
