Billy Joe Shaver coming to Cain's
Outlaw Country hero/legend Billy Joe Shaver takes his special brand of outlaw country music to our beloved Cain’s Ballroom next Friday, Jan. 13.
Not familiar with Mr. Shaver? That’s okay. Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Elvis Presley were. Not only is he the original outlaw, not only do we have the same birthday (August 16!), not only does the guy play a mean guitar while missing two fingers but he (allegedly) shot someone in the face for (allegedly) telling him to shut up.
He (allegedly) asked the guy “Where do you want it?” before he shot him. Then (allegedly) said, “Tell me you are sorry.” And then he (allegedly) said, “No one tells me to shut up.”
This. Guy. Is. Awesome.
