Eloté Café and Catering, one of Tulsa's best new lunch spots, is now open for dinner! The new hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday; and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday. They are still open Mondays, but only for lunch 11am to 2pm. Eloté features super fresh and somewhat traditional Mexican dishes (no Tex-Mex here), made with local and sustainable ingredients. I'm looking forward to the Mojito Chicken ($9.49/$12.49) and Carne Guisada (slow cooked beef in a New Mexican red chile sauce $10.99). Take-out containers are made from corn and biodegradeable, and owner Libby Auld even donates the restaurant's compost to local farms. Eloté is located at 514 S. Boston Avenue, 582-1403.
