Spring abounds, outdoors as well as in restaurant kitchens around town. Several places have posted spring menus – here are a few that I look forward to trying. The Cherry Street Farmers’ Market, Tulsa’s largest market devoted to farmers and growers of both plants and animals, opens this month. Since its inception in 1998, the CSFM has grown in size, scope and popularity (from a handful of vendors in the late 1990’s to close to 90 today) to become the premiere farmers’ market in Oklahoma. As the name would imply, the Cherry Street market is located on Cherry Street (15th Street) between Peoria and Utica, and features the area's best in local and organic produce, plants, herbs, baked goods, eggs, cheese, meats, garden crafts and music.  The market is open every Saturday morning, April through October from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
