St. Patricks Day Round-Up

Whether it's green beer or authentic Irish culture you seek, Tulsa has an event for you this weekend.

Grab your drinking buddies, the kids, your coworkers, your neighbors... St. Patrick's Day is on a Saturday this year, and with gorgeous weather in the forecast, it's sure to be one for the books. There's no luck of the Irish needed to find a good time!

Arnie's Bar

Celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at Arnie’s Bar is a Tulsa tradition! For most of the year, Arnie’s is an intimate bar filled to their max occupancy of merely 100 regulars... but on St. Patrick’s Day they flood out into the streets of the Blue Dome District at 2nd & Elgin to accommodate about 50,000 of their closest friends donning green clothes and a big grin. This St. Patrick’s Day celebration is legendary in Tulsa, and in recent years, they’ve even opened the outside gates to all ages until 8pm so that everyone can enjoy the live Irish music and sense of community during the daytime. St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Saturday this year, so gates will open at 10am and, as usual, there will be NO cover charge all day. Food trucks present include: Andolini’s, Dog House, Lone Wolf, MASA, Mr. Nice Guys and Rub.

This year, Arnie’s Bar is on a mission to help Tulsa teachers. With recent classroom supply shortages, they are using their annual festival to help teacher and students all over the Tulsa area. While there is no cover charge to attend the event, they are offering an incentive to any guest who wants to bring school supplies for teachers at any grade level. For every festival goer who comes with supplies, their name will be put into a drawing to win a great set of tickets to the U2 concert at BOK Center on May 2nd, which kicks off their U2 2018 eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour. Arnie’s has other big giveaways planned for the celebration as well. You do not need to be present to win.
