Comedy double-take

This weekend's comedy offerings include a benefit for the Openarms Youth Project plus a performance by improv legend Wayne Brady.

This will be a whimsical weekend for those needing to relieve some tension. If you’re looking to laugh your socks off, you have options this weekend!

Openarms Youth Project will be hosting the Lowbrow Comedy Show Fundraiser Friday, May 20. Doors open at 7 pm at 2015-B S. Lakewood Ave. in Tulsa. Light appetizers and complimentary wine and beer will be served. Tickets are available for $20. All funds raised will go to OYP to promote wellness and self-esteem for youth identifying themselves as gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, or questioning.

If you’re looking for a familiar face, Wayne Brady will be performing at The Hard Rock Casino. You may recognize the Emmy-Award wining comedian from shows like Lets Make a Deal or Whose Line Is It Anyway. The show begins at 8 pm on Sunday, May 22. Tickets are on sale for $45-$55. Must be 21+ to enter.
