Style at any age
I admit, some mornings I wish my mom was still in charge of dressing me. Looking back at my baby, toddler and grade school pictures, I must say - I looked pretty darn cute! Maybe it's the fact that I wore a uniform through middle and high school (which took the guesswork out of getting dressed in the morning) that's made me dread coming up with stylish outfits on a daily basis. Regardless, my point - though made in a very roundabout way - is that you can be stylish at any age, and perhaps the best way to remain stylish is to put someone else in charge of the task just like mom once was.
That's why I am going to the "Style @ Any Age" event, co-hosted by Little Black Dress and Gaga-a-Gogo. I don't have little ones to dress yet, but I am going to put LBD owner Kelly Mize in charge of finding me a few fabulous pieces for spring. The affair will include hor d'oeurves, champagne and sparkling juice for the kiddos - what could be better? Join me this Thursday at Little Black Dress (1325 E. 15th St.) from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and put the style back in your age.
