Downtown brainiacs unite

Picture your ideal downtown.

Do you want to see more walking traffic? More nightlife? More restaurants, bars and retail shops so downtown stays alive at night and on the weekends?

I know I do.

Now, there’s an opportunity for young professionals to share their ideas for a more vibrant downtown.

Tulsa’s Young Professionals (TYPros) will host a downtown brainstorming event Thursday night (March 5) at the Crowne Plaza, 100 E. Second Street, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., so members can share their opinions about downtown’s revitalization efforts.

Bill Fournet, president and CEO of The Persimmon Group (a Tulsa-based business specializing in business consulting and project management), will lead the brainstorming process so young professionals can collaborate and find out what they really want to see downtown.

If you’re interested (which you should be- this is our future we’re talking about!), RSVP to TYPros Director Chris Oden at chrisoden@tulsachamber.com.

Complimentary appetizers will be provided.
