If you’ve been staying current with my blog, you know I’m a huge supporter of Tulsa’s Young Professionals (TYPros). Not only do I support the organization, which is such a huge driving force in downtown development and in retaining and attracting young professionals, but I’m also a member.
Well, it’s quite simple. I want to have a voice and be part of the changes that shape our city’s future. And TYPros allows me to do that. For example, if you’re a member (and if you’re not, it’s so easy to join just by visiting their web site) you can take a quick two-minute survey that allows you to give your thoughts regarding downtown development.
I’m not a huge fan of surveys or opinion polls, but in this case I am because it’s about the center of our city’s business development.
TYPros will share its survey results at a brainstorm event next week on Thursday, March 5th at the Crowne Plaza from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Be sure to offer your thoughts on TYPros’ Web site (under “Happenings” and “Opinion Poll”) because Tulsa’s willing to listen.
