Flowers for your Valentine
All you need is love. While that statement is true, every girl loves flowers and they won’t exactly spoil a Valentine’s Day. Flowers are beautiful, fragrant and meaningful. The only negative is that no matter how green your thumb ... eventually they will die. But this year, they don’t have to! Garden Deva owner and artist Lisa Regan has handcrafted over 200 handcut metal flower sculptures, many of which are colorfully painted. OK, so they are lacking scent, but I’m sure you can take care of that with the smell of chocolates or mood-enhancing candles. And now your valentine will enjoy his or her flowers year after year! Prices start at $35. Located just outside of downtown Tulsa at 317 S. Trenton Ave., Garden Deva is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. And, if flowers aren’t your thing, consider a painting from local artist Matt Moffett’s Mandala Valentine series. Or choose from works by a number of artists featured at the Garden Deva gallery. For more information visit www.gardendeva.com.
